Tripp.. I know we talked a bit last night. Please go back to the hospital where you can get the medical care you need. I'm sorry that things are so hard for you, but you're only going to feel better if you 1. stop drinking and 2. get the medical help you need, to ease the way. Please reconsider taking care of yourself.

I wish you well, and I hope the hurt eases soon.

Good morning, Trippstar

Dt's can literally be a killer, hon.

I hope you take flutter's advice and get yourself supervised.

Keep in mind as well - this is the last time you have to go through this.
Everyting is going to be different from here on out.
the good news for today is
this too passes.

Please keep posting if you can - people here tend to worry about others when they don't show up.

Hi Trip,
I am worried about you too. The best thing to do is to bite the bullet and go through a medically supervised detox back in the hospital. It's amazing how much better we can feel both mentally and physically after staying sober for a little while. Everything in life is so much better sober and continued drinking only makes everything worse.

Hey Trippstar. Sorry to hear that you are struggling.

I have read your threads here and there. I wanted to send some strength your way.

As far as this rough patch goes, no strength really needed. Just surrender and get
some medical help. I donīt know much of your story, i have read that you have
detoxed medically at least one time during the past months, so maybe after a new
one you will be open to try something completely different regarding your recovery.

All the best, amigo.

Allow me to jump on the bandwagon here and suggest medical help. Go to the Emergency Room! As Barb has mentioned, the DT's can be fatal. And why suffer needlessly? A medical detox can get you through this safely and painlessly.
