6 weeks.....
Well made it six weeks back on the road to recovery. Sometimes it's the easiest thing in the world to do, others, nigh on impossible. However I am thankful for the days when I wake and I am not hungover, not having to clean up the aftermath of a session, anxiously checking my email account and mobile phone to see what I may have done......
I am just thankful I can get through the days (and nights) right now whilst finding life fairly enjoyable and happy I have made a decision for me that feels right.
I cannot say I will never drink again, all I can say is I will try not to drink today.
