Made it a year!
I haven't really posted much on SR, but am on here quite frequently layin' low (okay, lurking).
I celebrated a year of sobriety at the Kentucky Derby this past weekend. I was smashed at the Derby 2008...and basically for the previous 20 years. This forum has been very helpful and encouraging. My heart goes out to many of the folks with struggles and stories I read. Thanks all!
Mind you, that I don't look at this "one year" as a finish line, but rather a milestone along the path to a lifetime of continued sobriety. I just know that I'll wake up sober tomorrow and, God willing, the day after tomorrow.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing that with us. I do hope that you will stop by here more often and share how things are going with you. It always helps the Newcomer when someone celebrates a milestone and shares their ESH.
God Bless,
Judy
