60 days and Doing well
60 days and Doing well
It's been about 2 weeks or so since I logged in and posted so just wanted to pop in and let everyone know how things are. I've been reading the site every few days but just haven't logged in for a couple weeks.
I just hit 60 days this past week and am doing pretty good lately. It's amazing just how well your life can run when your not facing each morning in a hung over daze or each night drunk and foggy headed. I work for myself (small business) and these past 2 months business has been the best it's been in years and orders are being done in less than half the time it use to take me...hmmm think that might have something to do with the 60 days sober? me thinks it might! lol
The urges and cravings have not been anywhere near what they were the first few weeks ethier. probably the only "bad" thing is I started smoking again after being smoke free for 10 months, but that's something I will have to get under control again once I have a bit more sober time and is deffinatly the lesser of my concerns right now.
But just wanted to log in and let everyone know how I am doing and I'm still here reading posts all the time just haven't made any posts lately.
Hope everyone else is doing well.
Steve

Sobriety sure helped me to begin the necessary work to bring order, healing and productivity into my life as well. Good going on 60 days!
Congrats on the 60 Steve!
What I have to remember is that even though I do not have cravings or desires for alcohol they could come back in the drop of a hat without warning. So I keep myself busy with sobriety stuff to keep my defenses up and all has gone well.
