Counting

Hi everyone, what a great site! I somehow someway have made it to day 4 without a drink. I was in such a funk leading into tuesday that I never even thought 4 days was possible, more or less 1 day. Wednesday came and I just decided to deal with it and quit. It has been rough but I am determined especially considering the last 3 months of my life battling with the drink and losing was a living hell. It's tough to tell yourself your going to quit and fail everyday. Brings you down and wrecks your mind. Hopefully I will not fail again. Taking it one day at a time. I also appreciate all of the posts on this site that enabled me to have the courage to follow in your shoes and quit. Even though its only four days - its a good start and I thank you.
