Thank you all so much. Why does everyone around here treat me like OJ?

I got out of a DUI that A. I didn't do, B. Could medically prove it and C. The cops had no evidence at all.

I'm being treated so horribly by those I thought were my friends. They all wanted to see me locked away. I don't get it. Well, cry two tears in a bucket, **** it. It's the way of the world I guess. I'll find new friends. I'm just very hurt tonight. Those *************.

HUH......?

I just reread this entire thread, just in case I mkissed a negative one earlier, but from what I see, everyone here, in this thread at least, has been positive.....WTG.....4U.....!!!!

Perhaps folks are treating you badly in PM.....? If this is the case, just give me their names; I'll take care of em for ya......Us Texans need to stick together........... (o: (actually, if this is the case, take the offensive posts, etc. to the mod's or admins; that's the way to go).

.......and since I haven't already done so........goodonya for gettin your charge(s) dismissed......I've been waiting to hear about all that stuff, and I'm glad it came out ok for ya..... (o: Me, and a whole lotta others here were all routing for you.

That must be a relief. Here in the UK you can get by without a car, but not being able to drive in the US must be a right pain.

Sorry I didn't make that clear. People in my life in real world land, my "friends" are treating me badly. They all think I got away with something and are kind of upset.

The people at SR have been wonderful. You guys understand where I'm coming from.

(((Tex)))

Sounds like those "friends" aren't really good friends...maybe they have their own issues, but that's not YOUR problem.

You're right..you can make new friends, who will be there with you in good and bad times.

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Congrats Tex,
I am new around here and just saw some or your posts. I am curious if you ever found why you were blowing false positives? I had heard of this before but never really found out what actually caused the problem.
Thanks!

I'm blowing false positives because I'm a fat guy and according to the doctor I'll be giving off alcohol for awhile. She says as long as it's in my fat, I might blow crazy numbers. I have to lose weight. It's only in breath and a blood will show that you're clean. My advice, refuse a field sobriety, refuse breath and take a blood. If you're in my boat anyway. Blood will tell the exact truth. My breath came back .27 but my blood came back .00. Just demand blood.

If you're newly sober, just don't get pulled over.

Thanks Tex,
I did a little checking on the net and apparently there are a lot of reasons a person can blow a false positive. Apparently the car machines are less accurate also. I say a guy at the local club going nuts trying to get his car to start that swore he was sober recently. He did appear sober. Congrats for having the guts to fight it and win.
