Hi..No..I don't have a sponsor..I feel kinda funny askin..I feel like i'm a little too old to be whining to a stranger...although I do have a social worker I speak with and a Psycologist
I've been seein since the beginning...just seems a little easier with those folks to talk...Ya know?..as far as friends in my Sunday group..I know many but can't seem to get close and talk.. like at the end of the meeting when everyone hangs around for a bit...I dunno...aniety has been a huge problem for me since I stopped drinking..I just don't know...sometimes I just want to walk away from it all..I seemed happier then..I lost a good friend..

I can certainly relate to what you say..use to be the "funny Guy"..loved to talk..go anywhere..now I just don't know how to react....as far as relationships ..i've been married 29 years now...been drunk 28 of them ..plus...either she or me has become a whole different person...somethings really missing....not the same.
