For Those Siting on the Fence

I’d Rather live my life sober, believing that I’m an Alcoholic,

than as a drunk, trying to convince myself that I am not…

Good point. I know a lady who is convinced she is not an alcoholic just a heavy drinker. In two weeks she is going into detox - now I'm asking myself, do non alcoholic people go into detox for alcohol withdrawal?

Wise perspective Tomas.
When I was drinking I thought about what I would miss if I quit.

Now that I am quitting (newbie - 19 days in), I realize that I get something really great in the quitting - this thing called sobriety is pretty good stuff. I know I only know the tip of the iceberg of sobriety at this point. Reading the ES&H from others makes me know there is more underneath.

thanks for the post
