I Did Some AA Service Work!

Well folks believe it or not I actually did some service work. It was the last meeting of the night and the chair person who had the keys to lock up forgot them at home. He asked me if I would stay at the club until he returned with the keys. It took about an hour for him to get back and I was left all alone in the club. I felt a genuine peace and gratitude for the place.

Maybe I can get a service chip? Honestly though I felt a little better last night. I turned off all the lights and just sort of meditated while I waited for the guy to come back. I do owe the place an amends because I frequently take a cup of coffee without putting 25 cents into the jar.

I am glad for you Tib.

Service work is great though I can get resentful that I am the only one doing the dishes at the end of the night...30 people all get up and walk out...do they think the dishes wash themsleves!

Y'all have DISHES in your AA meetings over there?

Wow. I have never seen that. Plastic cups here. All you gotta wash is a couple of coffee pots.
