This is a very good thread!
Please be careful not to replace alcohol with Tylenol or Benedryl. Just as easy to become addicted to them.
In sobriety we relearn to do many new things and sleeping habits could be one of them. But after time, sleep really does become genuine, again.
I think a previous poster suggested exercise and vitamins, they may be of help.

The sleep will come.. our bodies adjust to health slowly.
I agree w/ coffee, I would be very careful about 'medicating' yourself to sleep. I know in my sober world, I'm trying to learn how to do things without becoming dependent on yet another substance/pill/etc etc.
It will happen, your body will thank you for not putting even more 'stuff' into it, i'm sure!
Sounds like that's your plan, and what a healthy way of thinking! I like feeling my feelings too, and yep.. sometimes they keep me awake, and that is OK!
