Drunk and gone
Twd, I know your going thru a tough time right now...this is probably the worst time, I remember your other posts. You need support of people around you, I suggest you find an AA meeting, people who care and understand what you are going thru....you get telephone no's at the meeting so you have people to talk to when you need them....Please go and try, I was not wanting to go to AA, but I did and it is the best decision I have made in along time....please get back to us,:praying for you
Hey Tim,
As you said in one of your other posts, "a dirty penny can be shined up".
Like Pam said, AA can be a big help. There is nothing like face-to-face support. You'd be surprised how many people are in your shoes. You are not alone ...
You can find local AA meetings & phone numbers on AAs website [HERE].
I hope you come back ... you're a good person and you can be shined up too.

It's time to change!

I know the hopelessness you feel! I've been drinking for many many years and seemed to have "tried" everything. But I guess the difference for me is needing to completely surrender and go to any length to gain a new life. I recently had another binge and feel I just couldn't go on. Had thoughts of leaving this world and the hell seemed unbearable. After a few days of complete physical sickness, talking to a friend for support in AA... maybe there's a light at the end of the tunnel. I need to give it a chance and do this thing all the way or not at all. I'm surrendering today.
Often times it isn't about what we want to do, but need to do. I didn't want to go to AA, but it boiled down to...I had to do something to save myself. Weigh your options and work toward sobriety.

Not sure what this post is about but if you're sayign that if I was in your shoes I would drink to then I call BS and a horrible excuse!
If you are or you aren't saying that I just want to let you know if and when you sober up in the morning or whenever the problems will still be there because in my experience when I drank to avoid problems the next day they were always there because I AM THE PROBLEM

I have no idea what your post meant but oddly enough I can relate to it...does that make sense? I feel like I've been where you are. Your post didn't have to make sense to me. The fact that you posted at all shows that you are here and you are reaching. In the beginning that's all that really matters. Hope you stick around for the fog clearing. It's a beautiful morning....
