Seasea it will be okay, it can be. We all get afraid sometimes. Deep breaths. Are you afraid you are going to drink? Afraid you never will again? It is normal to be afraid. Just don't drink. Dump that stuff down the drain if you did not drink it yet. Are you on anything for anxiety? Maybe you should see a doctor.
Forward we go...side by side-Rest In Peace

Welcome to SR....
I'm sorry the two of you are having difficulties
Seeing a doctor is a wise idea.
You can go to an ER if necessary and they
can help with many issues related to drinking.
Blessings to both of you

i feel for you. i really do. he is there with you? dump out the alcohol. call they local fire department or EMS and have them pick him up and take him to the hospital. that's what we pay our tax dollars for. throw out all the alcohol. and yes, stopping drinking will give you serious anxiety for about the first week. you will feel like crying when you wake up and you will have the shakes just like you do with a real hangover. but it passes. always remember that an anxiety attack is not really a threat to your health (at least i think) and that it will pass. they always pass. cravings pass. but with anxiety, it does pass. if it gets too bad, and money is an issue, go to the emergency room. ask a police officer or bus driver or friend to drive you there. get the help you need to feel better. but whatever you do, do your best not to drink. worry about yourself as much if not more than the person you are worring about.

sounds very simple, but you can try chamomile tea to relax you. you have to get out of bed and do something. stretch your body, go for a walk. it must suck to have lost your job. so many people are suffering with this issue. hang in there. nothing is ever as bad as it seems. just hang in there as best as you can, cry if you need to and reach out here. we are all here for you.
i have some very serious issues going on right now too, which i have been posting about. but i find that if i read other people's posts and reply to them and offer encouragement and help, it helps me. read other people's threads and get to know them and offer them help too. it will make you feel better to help others. i'm sure you have a lot to offer us too.

I am just so glad I don't have to feel like that anymore.
Isn't it wonderful to be able to live without that terrible fear each day?
Think about the future seasea, it gets sooooo much better. Take care and you're in my prayers
