Welcome to SR and our Alcoholism Forum
I was not a binge drinker...rather one who drank consistantly
and excessively for the final 5 years of my active alcoholism.
I found a way to quit and it's a great way to live.
I didn't binge.. unless you call the past several years as a binge. Sure I took a day off, a week off, etc.. but hell, who am I kidding? I'd drink as often and as much as I could usually. 'too much, too often, for too long'..
However! I do remember counting the days that I drank in a row. I'd get up to 6 or 7 and force a break. ONE day haha.. or 2, then another "binge"..Silly how the mind works.

from the second the weekend started till it finished was my weekly ritual. the last time i pushed it almost till the very hour i had to start work. proof the alcoholic mind is completely idiotic.
10 days 24hrs was drunk the whole time, had a bottle of 100 proof on the nightstand wake up take a huge drink get up start on the beer. I almost died, i have another chance to get it right this maybe my last chance. My drinking once started is out of control, my disease has progressed..
