Congrats on 90 days Magic Man,
I too thought I was reading a current thread and was very happy to see the dates. I think it is very inspirational to see how some can turn it around. You sounded very desparate and now sound great.

Whoa I'm really glad I opened and read the bottom of this post.. the original message popped up when I scrolled over, without a date saying you had been picked up for a DUI. EEP!
Ok, now that I'm over my shock and fear for you, I want to congratulate you.. now that I realized that post was from October
Well done!!!

First, you have to accept where your life is, now. It is in the toilet. There is no magic pot of gold waiting for you.
Second, you have to examine each step that brought you there. You are 24, and are about as low as you can go, barring crime. The only place you can go is up, from this point. Did it start in high school? Partying with friends, etc? If so, you should determine if you need these friends, if they are an influence for you to drink. I have friends that still drink and it doesn't bother me when they do it.
Third, you have to put aside other people, for now. Your parents should stick with you through thick and thin, but tough love is also a part of that, because sometimes, we have to learn things the hard way.
I wouldn't put a notice in at work, unless I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO.
You are in a hole. You have to get out of it.
