You are the only person who knows why you do what you do.

Maybe because you are an alcoholic? There are solutions to alcoholism. If you are not in a program of recovery please find one. If you are then put as much effort and work into the program as you have your drinking and I guarantee you will get results, if not you can have your misery refunded.

I don't know your history. I DO know, however, that alcoholism is a disease. A very powerful one and a hard one to recover from but I also know that it is possible. You have to finally get honest with yourself and realize you can't do it anymore or you WILL die. You will kill yourself if you continue down that path. At some point we have to take responsibility for our actions and begin to pull out of it. Sounds like you've been here before so you know what it CAN do to you but will you let it? Make a decision here and now to pick up where you left off, get honest and do what it takes. Nobody said it would be easy. So far I haven't met any of the so called "such unfortunates" who are incapable of grasping this simple program. You can do this and you have to if you want to live. I'll be thinking about you and hope you make the right decision. Nobody can make it for you.

I'm not sure but being dead sure doesn't sound like such fun either.

For me, it came to not be as important WHY I drank like that, but that I could end that downhill slide right now. I don't always know why I do the things I do, but I do know that I can act to make things better, instead of always making things worse.

You can make this your last apology to yourself and your loved ones.

Are you involved in AA? Can you call the hotline and go to a meeting?

My prayers go out to you, I hope your feeling better.
