Today is 7 days without alcohol. Hasn't been too bad. I think alot of it for me is a habit. But very close to being in full blown alcholism. I did buy the blue book. Have a few social events coming up I would normally have a few at. But it is not in my best interest, I am hoping I caught myself before I got in too deep.

A week is awesome, in the book you bought it mentions that alcohol is cunning, baffling, & powerful, it is basically refering to the disease, just be prepared, if you are like I used to be, after a week or so without a drink a voice in my head would convince me that I can not be an alcoholic, I have not had a drink in a week, all I have to do is stop after one or two.
