in one hour...
thanks!
Thanks to all for the good wishes. I slept soundly but of course had one of the most vivid drunk/using dreams I've had yet! (I'm hoping it's sort of like breaking the glass at a Jewish wedding.)
How I did it...hmm.
1. Rehab (28 days)
2. AA right away...almost every day and sometimes 2-3 times a day for the past year...(my record in one day is 4).
3. Sponsor right away, weekly step work with him and nightly reading
4. Coffee job at 3 months, 2 chair jobs and treasurer job after 6
5. Sober support network and frequent calls/hangouts
6. Helping newcomers
7. Getting medical help with PAWS
8. Realizing that I don't have all the answers.
I think that about sums it up.

Thank you so much for letting us know how you did it. I have not been pushing myself and this really gives me motivation to step up my efforts. Sobriety is just so important.
