Glad I Waited to Start Cleaning

OMG!! Today I decided to tackle cleaning my garage. In the recent rain it flooded a bit and I just needed to get to it. Last year when they redid my kitchen I put everything in there and hadn't gone thru it since. My remodel was the straw that broke this alcoholics back. Anyway...the hidden beer bottles I found. I found them in boots, behing boxes, under papers and between paint cans. I found about 12 bottles, all empty of course. I found at least 30 beer caps in a variety of places. The best thing I found was an opened bottle of cheap champagne. it had about 1/4 missing and was back up on the shelf!! I dumped it out without any trouble. I also dumped a 1/2 bottle of cheap ass rum and even cheaper vodka. But I wonder if I could have about 4 months ago? There was definetly a reason to be a procrastinator!!

Yet another example of why I think everything happens for a reason...

GOOD FOR YOU for pitching it out!

When my partner moved in we took on a much needed cleaning of the cupboards. I was about 2 months sober at the time and thought all the booze was out of the house. Came upon an almost full bottle of gin..wayy in the back. Freaked me out. I was very grateful that I didn't know it was there during some hard nights..

All part of the plan...HP looking out for ya!

That is great how that worked out for you. Glad you shared that with us. I bet it felt good to dump it. When I first quit drinking it bothered me if I seen people even buying alcohol. Today the thought of drinking turns my stomic.
