Thank you all so much....
Today is a special day for me. One week sober after 7 years drunk.
This is going to sound like all the other platitudes people must roll out at a time like this, but I really could not have done it without you all. You have been unfailingliy supportive and informative and my life is richer for it.
I surrendered 7 years of my life to alcohol and it is not having another.f***ing.day.
I don't know if these tears I'm crying are of joy or relief, but I can tell you exactly what their alcohol content is :-)

I know what you mean about the gratitude for people on this site...sometimes I'm just so overwhelmed with the love and support that I want everyone to know...and I don't think they can fully understand my gratitude. Then I remember that every single one of them has probably felt the same at one time.
