I've had itchy palms before, I never did figure out what has caused it!

On a quick side note, why are tingling feet a concern? I've had that on and off for a few weeks now, tingling and slight numbness in my ankles/feet.

Edited to add: Oops, there is already a thread about tingling. Never mind, sorry to hijack your thread Ron!

Rufus, get to your Dr.

Could be signs of several things. Get checked for diabetes (has a tendency to show up in alkies sober for a while).

It is as much of a concern as feet and ankles. Could be many things. Dr. will probably refer you to a neurologist to have some nerve tests done.

Yes, I have the itchy palms, just know it is from damaged nerves, do not know if it is from my alcoholic neuropathy or my peripheral neuropathy from my diabetes. But at least after having nerves moved in my arms I have the use back of my hands, they are no longer numb.

GO TO YOUR DOCTOR. It is not to be taken lightly.

Love and hugs,

If it's on your left hand...you are about to recieve money
If it's on your right you soon will shake hands with a stranger.
Both hands? Wash with hot soapy water.

Are you taking aspirin or ibuprofen? I used to get itchy palms whenever I took ibuprofen.

There was something I used to hear about itchy palms...

oh wait...

That was hairy palms, never mind. :P

Sorry. I really couldn't help myself. In all seriousness it could be dry skin, or using a soap with a high detergent. The palms and the rest of my hands became itchy and irritated from using hand soap at work. It could just be dermatitis.

Carol & Sugah I heard the same thing!

Listen to Laurie, some how I do not think money or handshakes in the future cause ones palms to itch today!
