Gravity that is an awesome post, thanks for sharing! Congrats on staying sober and using the tools you had at your disposal and also realizing you had more tools in your box that would have helped even more! You have helped me to stay ever vigilant, not resting on my laurels!!!

As pleased as I am with 94 days sober today, I have to remind myself every day that I'm only ONE DRINK away from a relapse. One drink away from losing everything I value, materially and emotionally. One drink away from the old feelings of shame, guilt, lying, cheating, and self loathing.
Every day I remember how awful it was when I was drinking and how much I want to move forward, not backward. If I never forget where I came from I won't have to fear going back there.
