Frustrated

Plucked up the courage to post after 2 years, bared my soul and found myself logged out with the posts lost. Don't have the umph to rewrite for a 3rd time guess its not to be.

Peter,
If this helps I have found due to my atrocious spelling and interruptions while preparing a post that it is best in my case that I write the post on Microsoft word and then I can spell check as well as have the document saved. When ready to post I just right click "Copy" and then "paste the result into the quick post.

I am sure better men and women than I have no need for this "crutch" but it does work for this computer and brain challenged "old dog."

Give it a try if you care to. I for one would love to hear your thoughts.

I have to do this with many of my posts. I do it when I am responding to a post that I find controversial, then I save it to a word doc without posting it and let it sit for a day or so that way I can come back later and make sure that I don't post something I am likely to regret. I also use this on posts that I find important yet don't want to have to type them again. Most of the Big Book Step and Book study stuff I have posted here I have saved, too much to retype if it got lost.

Hang in there. We truly want to hear from you. Give it another go, this time try the Word doc thing and that way you have it without retyping until you get the posting thing down. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Make sure you check the box that says 'Keep me logged in'.

Won't lose the post when you go to review and spellcheck or whatnot.

I have found it helpful. If shared computer - make sure you logout when closing down.
