Happy Sober Patty's Day all, I hope none of your succumb to booze, as I will not either, and now onto my usual rant.
In case anyone has any medication withdrawal experience you may be able to relate to this. So far I've gone a week from last Monday without my usual meds I take *Lamictal 75mg/Invega 6mg* and ever since the first day I didn't take it right I have begun to feel like I don't have control of my brain anymore, I feel less comfortable, I don't eat as much, I don't feel any passions, I feel like I'm a lost spirit in the world... can anyone relate? The only reason I'm going off my meds *with doctor's knowledge of course* is because I've been on anti physchotics/anti depressants for almost a whole year now and they've done nothing for me, I couldn't take anymore so I went off the meds, and this is my first day without any medications, but I haven't felt pure sober FROM meds in a while that's why I want to see if my OCD/anxiety goes away at all, but so far... it's been pure PURE HELL.

Paulos, you got any hobbies or anything to take your mind off things?
What sort of stuff do you like doing, or what would you like to be able to do?
Maybe if you change your routine and try some new stuff you'll find some stuff to do that you grow to enjoy so that you don't have to focus inwards all the time.

I dont really know much about meds im afraid paulos- though i am sure many will have some insight and be able to help you. I notice you are kinda like me tho- in that u want everything now! It's day 1 remember, let things pan out the way they are supposed- it may take a while, in the mean time, rather than sitting around waiting to get better, embrace sobriety (i admittedly can find this hard) for all its worth, cos it is worth it
See a doc maybe, explain to them you have come off everything and why- see if they have any info for support groups- or counselling. I would reccomend A.A. for your not drinking. Going alone is tough- i could never do it.

How are you? Talk to your doctor and be honest with him about the drinking.
How much do you drink when you do anyhow? Is it large quantities?
I bet, if you could go 2 months with no liqour and no meds (if the Dr says it's safe), you will feel better.
