So I got my 1 year chip last night. It's in my pocket. My sponsor brought a cake, and I was lucky enough to share the birthday with A's sponsor who has nine years. I cried. Tears of gratitude. My sponsor said working with me was "a delight". I'll remind her of that when she has to kick my butt.

My friend made me share and through the blubbering all I could say was "thank you for being here and showing me the way". A got me a key chain with the lst verse of Footprints on it..I showed my son my chip and he's very proud of me.

I'm a big mushball. And sooooo very grateful.

Again, without that particular meeting and SR..I honestly don't know where I'd be today.
