Old Newsreel clips of AA
These are "links to original clips that were shown at what were then called movie houses. Back in the 1946-52 range, televisions were not common in American homes and many watched newsreels of world news and coming attractions prior to the latest movies. These are very interesting to watch - too see historical news reports from AA's early years."

Thank you... The X is 'cuz I messed up...it wouldn't display right. I asked for help so that they can be reposted...I tried so many times the option to edit is gone...I apologize.
They were sent to me in an email and I wanted so to share them . the history of Aa is so remarkable and it was only by studying the history that I finally was convinced to remain on this journey. I am told that some of them are being cut off because I goofed.
I have not been bestowed the gift of being computer literate...in some areas...However...I have been given the gift of learning to ask for help...
hugs to you all

I always seem to get a chuckle out of the melodramatic way people speak in those period black-and-whites... with the harps and violins playing in the background... I'm not knocking it, I just find it interesting the way "mass sensibilities" change over time.
All those suits!
Thanks for posting that!
