Hi. In the last two weeks, I've dreamed twice about using drugs (cocaine, which was never my drug of choice) and once -- last night -- about getting drunk with vodka (which was my usual DOC). Once, prior to that, I had a dream that my therapist was a former heroin addict (he's not, as far as I know).

I know "drunk dreams" are fairly common, but I'm confused about the dreams involving substances that weren't my part of my addiction. Why does this happen?

I often have the story line entwined with a dream.

Last night I fell asleep with "Young Guns" on.
I woke from a dream where
in western clothes... I was talking to Pat Garrett.

Hi Bella. I have had dreams where I was drunk and alcohol was not my DOC. Go figure..

I have had using dreams with drugs I have never even tried! Weird, but they're just dreams.

I dreamed about drinking a huge glass of vodka and I was a beer man!!!! DO not get me wrong, I have when there was no beer drank vodka, even drank a bottle and a half of cooking sherry when times were hard!

I had a dream just last night that the Giants won the Superbowl!!! Oh Wait!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT, it wasn't a dream.

he he... Can't explain your dreams, but they work in mysterious ways. My mother in law was trying for two days to remember the last name of one of her daughters old friends to invite her to a baby shower. She couldn't remember and on the third night, she woke up from a dream and in the dream, she had figured it out... wierd.

My Wife tells me that dreams are the product of my subconcsious doing laundry; washing through the good, the bad and the ugly. Makes sense to me!
