hi everyone.....hope all is well for you all....it's been a week sober for me this time...and it's been a month since my mom died...I am doing ok,i guess.I don't think the reality of it all has hit me yet,i guess it'll all take time.
i have been sick the last few days,which helps me with staying sober,that's for sure.
i just wanted to thank you all for your kind words and words of encouragement..i have been keeping myself busy,and my mind occupied with details,so much that i don't think i've taken the time to really accept the fact that my mother is gone,at least physically.And,i drank through the last month of it,so i was numbing myself each night,which didn't help.
i will be ok.....just wanted to say,'hi' to you all......KT

Me too...7 days! I really recomend staying with it...I feel clear and able to make better decisions. Remember that you arent the only one...took me a long time to see that.

Around day 7 was kind of difficult for me. Im in 3 weeks now and I think it's starting to change. Keep going!
