A Newfound Joy!
The joy that I feel right now is so much better than anything alcohol ever gave me (or took away). It feels incredible.
I never thought things would turn around. It seemed hopeless.
But it's amazing... I don't even have the desire to drink anymore! (Now that is a miracle!!!)
I have been going to AA and really working hard on myself. My alcoholism was getting me nowhere fast but I'm alive and free today.
And I'm so grateful!

That is awesome!!! It makes my heart sing when I see others finding the solution I too have found to my alcoholism.
It has always amazed me how much better my life has become with 12 simple steps and a fellowship.

How good it is to be sober....
Hi Hope, :ghug3
It is amazing how we get that wonderful feeling of being alive again and noticing all that is around us just for the asking.
I never in the world dreamed my life would become something I have been looking for in all the wrong places.
Keep coming back with your experiences, strength, and hope.
