Question?
Question?
I was wondering if it is possible to find if there is anyone from my location/state here on SR. I dunno why, but it seems like it would be an extra comfort to me to know that someone is not very far away to talk to or chat with online. I dont know if there are any rules about that or if it would be inapropriate, or how I would even do that.
If it is an ok thing to ask on here..would I just post "Any one from ______?" or what?

Hey there Angie
The best way to find local people willing to talk or chat is to call the local office of AA. They are in your phone book, and they're very chatty people.
If you do want to meet people thru the internet, _please_ read this first

On another note all recovery programs are welcome that includes A.A. There is nothing wrong with someone adding to the discussion by suggesting what has worked for them. Please let us all respect each others chosen program of recovery and not get so concerned about a posting regarding a program we do not use. The whole point is to encourage, support, and help each other. Thanks. Judith
