Never thought it possible but it happened
195 days today!!! YAY for me!
Ask anyone that knows me well. No one thought it possible for wee misslisa to stay clean and sober for even a week! Let alone 195 days!
My recovery makes me so much more positive about helping others now. I can still remember my darkest days drunk, sick, crying with no hope to live. Now I wake up happy, healthy, smiling and celebrating everyday. My relationships are better, my kids talk to me about thier secrets. im getting involved with the kids school.
all I want to say is it IS POSSIBLE!
What is impossible for man, is possible with GOD.
I still spend time on here reading others posts, its inspiring to see so many different people from different countries all with the same problems seeking help.
Big hugs to you all. sober recovery has definately been a huge part of my staying sober.

misslisa.
You sound so happy and together today. It is a good feeling to add up the Sober Days and experience all you are capable of doing. :day4
Have a wonderful weekend and spend time having fun with your family.

That is so great for you. I know the longer I sayed sober, the more I loved it. I do not miss using at all. Just wish it would of happened sooner, but I am a happy person today. And maybe it was meant to turn out this way.
