Hereeee I go again!

HEREEEEEEEEEEEEE I gooooooo again, for the like... 8th time, on the anti alcohol campaign. I'm doing it because I've just been drinking too much, some wine and like 6 beers a night isn't good.

Fact is I used to drink more, like 3 liters of Sunset Blush Wine a year ago and all, but... here I go again.

I've got some anti oxidant pills, L tyrseme is on the way, multi pill, B1 pill, super b complex pills, L glutamine and some other stuff.

It is Day 2 without drinking and Day 5 without smoking, I'm finally knocking the smoking out at least.

Shrink put me on Clonopin from my Xanax *switched me to Clonopin* 2 weeks ago and the withdrawal of xanax was not easy to do but I did that, but Clonopin doesn't seem to be helping my anxiety/depression, I get it more than usual.

Phew.. well Happy Halloween also everyone... :ghug

hey paulos,
If drinking isn't helping you at all and you have to booze MORE often and in higher consumption, that's when it's time to give it up!

ummm..About the Klonapin, when I took Klonapin it not only caused more depression, it gave me more cravings to drink... It was like liquid alcohol...

I've got $5.00 that say's if you maintain 3 months of sobriety , that your anxiety will lessen.

I'll double that bet (or more) if you work the steps.

I am in for $5.00 too, as I know that your anxiety will lessen if you maintain 3 months of continuous sobriety. You can do it!

You are going to have those Paulos. I can share with you what worked for me.

When I felt those cravings in the early days, I took a bath. Lots and lots of baths. Then I talked with another recovering alchie (my partner). Then, I started going to AA meetings. The more I went to, the more folks I met who shared their experience with me, the more hope I received and the more tools I learned to get through the cravings.

You CAN do this. Keep posting..
