I went into my new job today to see what the position entails. WOW. Pretty serious stuff. I'll be mixing intravenous medicines for folks who have cancer and other diseases that are at home. Also, mixing the nutrition that is pumped through stomach tubes for folks who can't eat. Plus, it involves math lol.

WOW.

I left there thinking: jeez, if I was still drinking there is no way in heck that I would trust myself to do this job correctly! I didn't drink on the job, but boy was I usually hungover and so wrapped up in my drama that my mind wouldn't be 100%.

Ya know, even though I've got some crap going on, I will never, ever, stop thanking God for this gift of recovery.
