Two weeks today
Its been 2 weeks today! I am finally starting to sleep a little better and the cravings are not nearly as bad. I feel better and I don't know if its the result of diet and excersize. Or being sober or the combination of both. But I am stronger and that makes me feel great. I went to a bar the other day to get my #'s in the football pool and sat down and had a club soda and cranberry juice. I was sitting next to an old friend of mine who made the comment what are you not drinking? And when I told him that I wasn't he made the comment back oh I should cut down as well. I can't tell you how many times I have heard that over the past 2 weeks from people I see in bars and clubs. As you most of you know I am a musician who plays in a rock cover band in night clubs on the weekends. And I am around booze a lot. And man what a challenge it has been to quit. But I have and I am done forever. Thanks to all of you who have help so far. And to those who just quit or are thinking of quiting all I can tell you is its not that hard once you set your mind to it.
