Maya you are not alone, nor should you feel any shame in what you are going through right now, there are plenty of us who have suffered depression, some far deeper then others.
Keep in mind there are people who have been in similar or worse situations then you who have found a way out and today are happy and productive members of society. These people will gladly and freely share with you how they recovered.
They will love you until you once again learn how to love your self. We will love you until you learn to love yourself again.
Maya please keep in mind when you are depressed that alcohol is a depressant, as a result drinking only provides a short term escape from the reality of your depression and then makes the depression even worse.
Please see a doctor and let the doctor know the whole truth about how much you drink and how you are feeling mentally.

You know I knew I was an alcoholic for years before I quit. What I could not admit for many years was that I was powerless over alcohol! You say that every one will be dissappointed in you if you say you are an alcoholic.............. well let me ask you which would make them happier.............. you being a drunk alcoholic that will not admit you are an alcoholic, or a sober alcoholic?
Maya I am glad you are back, I am glad you are still seeking help, just 13 months ago I hated myself, I was weak, I was useless, I was ashamed, I had dug myself a hole so deep I could not see a way out!!!! I finally admitted to myself that I was powerless over alcohol, I could not stop drinking on my own, I needed help.
Maya are you at the point yet where you can say you are powerless over alcohol?
If you are there are doctors & recovered alcoholics that can & will help you, all you have to do is ask.

im an alcoholic... evry1 will be so disapointed in me....but it cant be normal for a 20 yr old girl to have a kitchen knife lying in her bed to cut herself when she needs it and deserves it...
