a big thanks!!!!
i just wanted to offer a big hug and thanks to all of those that take the time to come over to the friends and families board and share your experience, hope, and strength with us.
you will never know how much i for one, have been helped through your insight and perspective of the addiction of alcohol.
i had been going to al-anon for quite awhile and was having such a hard time. it was a recovering alcoholic that was the very first one that got through to me, by gently, respectfully, and lovingly described the ways of active alcoholics to me that helped me understand my alcoholic husbands addiction.
views and thoughts "from the other side" are tremendously helpful to me, and i'm sure to others as well.
again.....a big thanks
and bless you all

jeri feel free to ask any of us anything..... well some things may be better handled via PM!!! LOL
jeri the best way to tell the difference between a recovering and a practicing alcoholic is the one in recovery has quit lying because they have found honesty has led them to freedom.
