TInLizzy,
I know what you mean about that magical line. I really don't know where I crossed it. I think I was always an alcoholic, but there was a point where I was rendered powerless. I wonder if I would have crossed that line had I known? I crossed many other lines ..... Another big border I crossed was a line of managability. This one I seemed to dance my way accross, oblivious to what was happening around me.

Sobriety is much, much better..
peace,
chip

Chip thanks for helping me stay sober today, as said in the BB:
Our stories disclose in a general way what we used to be like, what happened, and what we are like now. If you have decided you want what we have and are willing to go to any length to get it -- then you are ready to take certain steps.

CHip -

Your posts always motivate me. Thank you. Some of the stuff you talk about is so insightful, and things I couldn't even put words to.

Thank you for sharing your story. And for your honesty.

Chip I want what you have as well, you and many others help me stay sober.

I have found that I gain from everyone at SR & in AA, sometimes I learn how to change for the better by folks sharing good stuff, other times I learn how not to be, but unless I go to meetings and come to SR I learn nothing.

Thanks to all of you.
