It may get weirder.

Seek medical assistance if you need to!

Frankly I guess I was expecting to stop drinking and just finally feel with it . . . instead I feel very very out of it. I'm assuming/hoping a normal part of this process?

Please read the what to expect sticky at the top of the forum.

Also, I am not kidding. Withdrawel from booze can and does kill.

I had auditory hallucinations, shakes, chills, sweats, vomiting. It was really nasty.

I don't reccommend detoxing unless you first consult with a Doctor.

JMHO,

Ted

Thank you, I have started reading through it.

I will call my doctor tomorrow and see if I can get in for an appointment. I'm not going to lie, the embarrassment has held me back thus far from seeking help. I just need to get over myself and do it.

Hiya, I too am on night two and wow am I feeling better than on night one. I definitely agree with the posters who have encouraged you to see a doctor...this is serious stuff. Good luck and I look forward to hearing from you on your journey.
