On a lighter note...
I just got sober five days ago and I now find myself drinking an absurd amount of water. I don't know if the muscle movement is still just programmed in there but I am really, really hydrated right now.
Water's good for you. As long as you're going bathroom all right, there shouldn't be a problem. One thing you <might> want to do is have your blood gluscose level checked. Excessive thirst could be a sign of diabetes. Granted, I'm not a doctor. I drink a lot of water myself. I did have some blood work done a few weeks ago. Everything but cholesterol was okay. A blood test could at least set your mind at ease knowing everything's OK.

I drink Mt. Dew like it's about to be taken off the shelves. My addictive personality has given me the addiction to caffeine and nicotine.
I need to pick a date to quit smoking. I'm gonna look up to see where there are Nicotine anonymous meetings. My first hurdle was to quit drinking, which I have been sucessful so far as long as I follow directions in AA, and practice the 10th step.
Not only is it one day at a time, but also one task at a time.

Tom if you are serious about quitting smoking you should visit whyquit.com. I have been free of nicotine for over a year and this website helped immensely. Make sure you read Joel's Library.

well, how much?
not that you need to rsvp
but
as a kid, wasn't it 8 glasses a day
besides
what is the problem?
as in "free, from the faucet"
see a doctor
get on a diet
eat less
in time, you will adjust to less food, water to satisfy ypur appetite
some meds make you thirsty, hold water
so
see a doc
best
