Cleaning up the past

Well, after a fews horrible months of struggling, I've sent the mortgage company a check and am now completely 100 percent up to date!!! My mortgage has been reinstated!

What a relief.

While I was drinking, I obviously let things like, oh, bills slide. It's pretty much that fact that destroyed my second marriage (oh, and yeah, I fell in love with a woman lol). I was in charge of the bills, and I sucked at it.

But now, I'm slowly fixing things. I've still got a few people that I'm setting up payment plans with, but I'm actively working on it.

Sure, I'm broke, my money that I got from the divorce went to get up to date on the mortgage, but darn it, I feel good!

I'm very very grateful today.

That's awesome melro !

My wreckage is still haunting me. Broken down car, back taxes......But hey, at least I'm working.

I remember what it feels like to pay off a long standing debt though. It feels good.
