made it through the weekend

Made it through the weekend and today is day six. I've been taking the campral the dr prescribed and it seems to be working well. The dr also prescribed an antidepressant sense I went into such a deep depression last time I quit. I'm a little tired have not been sleeping much but I feel better each day. I'm looking forward to doing some of the things I enjoyed before alcohol/depression took them away. I'm looking forward to feeling better about myself as a person. I'm looking forward to actually being a husband and father rather than just being there.

Good going TKDAN and congratulations!! It can only get better as time goes on. I made it through the weekend too, and did not sleep a wink last night. I think we can both say we still feel a lot better than if we were hungover and guilt ridden today...I know I can!

Crikey, six days without alcohol! You've cracked it! I wish I could go just one day. A good evening for me is drinking just one bottle of red wine; but I still crave for more; much more.
