joyful day
i just wanted to share a joy... i had the best time today. i woke up in a bit of a funk, hadn't been to a meeting this weekend (except friday night), and was feeling really isolated/lonely, so i decided to go to a noon meeting at a place i had never been. it happened that they were having a cook out after, and my daughter and i had the most fun, meeting new people, playing whiffle ball and frisbie, eating, dancing... and ALL OF IT SOBER.... OMG!! people really can have fun without the alcohol and drugs.
it was just wonderful, and the first time in a loooooooooooooooooong time that i've had so much fun... sober!!
and God bless all the folks who have given so much and served our country.
