finally out patient therapy begins.....
After numerous calling and leaving messages,I finally got a program to respond back,it felt like I was talking to God during our brief phone conversation.I start tomorrow at 4pm,and cant freggin wait!!!! im sure some of ya know I had some slips lately because I swore I wouldnt come here for chit chat or sympathy visits.I have sooooo much self-mending to do,its so much more than just stopping drinking,im sure ya know what I mean.I'll be in touch,and BTW,im sober today.

Patrick my man I wish you all the luck in the world, you are taking action on your own which means you are ready! Please no matter how stupid some thing may sound at first, follow directions, it is so much easier and you recovery will go far smoother.

im on my crappy laptop so i gonna be brief. i DO have a cheering section,its rite here,a place where ppl actually listened to my great highs and hellish lows and never ditched me,maybe got frustrated with me but always been there,prob cuz they know the dillusional? life an alcoholic lives.I will be back tomorrow,im not nervous about spilling the truth to a stranger,actually excited,this place is great but its time for some face to face.Thanks thanks thanks,cant say it enuf

Once I really understood that I had a disease, and that I could no more stop drinking any more than I could control my bladder or bowels, It was actually a relief.
So Thats what's wrong with me!
That is when the work began for real.

i made it thru the session,so many questions,so many different issues,i started to get baffled towards the end and couldnt come up with answers to some questions.Went good tho,it helped gettinf things off my mind,things i have nobody in my real life i can get myself to say.Very tired and actually going to sleep now,its only 7:30 pm LOL,just very tired(yawnnnn)
