Glad to see your back on SR. Hope you can at least call your mother - it'll make you and her feel somewhat better. Maybe later in the day you'll feel well enough to go see her??? Don't beat yourself up too, bad - it happens to all of us. As a matter of fact, today is day 1 for me AGAIN.

I did not get into trouble everytime I drank
but everytime I got into a mess
I had been drinking..

I do hope you find your way into sobriety...
do you have a plan?

problemchild what are you doing to stay sober? I never in my 40 years of drinking have a problem quitting, staying stopped was the bear, I found that stopping drinking was only the beginning to staying sober, I finally found rooms full of people just like me with one major difference, they were staying sober and not only that they were happy being sober!!! I am now one of those folks, I found out that I am not alone just like you have, but I also found that I could find long term happy sobriety with these folks, they knew exactly how I was feeling and freely shared with me how they did it.
