Eval done,... now need a Seminar

OK... I had a DUI, went to court, and was told to have an evaluation done. I completed the evaluation, and the counselor prescribed a 16-hour DUI Seminar.

Are there online seminars I can take?
If so, please direct me to some sites.

Thanks
Mike

Sorry Mike, not that I now of and those seminar do cost money, lots of it.

Check with the counselor who did the evaluation. I am sure the counselor will know of one or more places that do the seminars. Be prepared, last I heard, they run about $1,000.00.

Check out some of the places on this google search:

http://www.google.com/search?q=DUI+S...ient=firefox-a

Hope that helps.

Welcome to SR.

Love and hugs,

Mike -

Are you looknig for a quick answer to satisfy court requirements, or education and assistance with a substance abuse problem??

If it's the latter, I would strongly suggest a F2F group with a strong couselor with substance abuse experience.

Just my 2 cents -

nice to meet you, mike. laurie has given you some good resources and tinlizzy has offered great food for thought.

when my daughter got her (2nd) dui - her lawyer told her - recovery is about staying out of trouble, not GETTING out of trouble.

what are your motives? i wish you peace in your decisions and i hope that you'll find some answers on this site.

blessings, k
