Like Taz says Stoney.

I hope you can do it all on your own this time with rehab and what you are going to try. If you can't.....the promise was your idea. That was so cool. Either way is fine by me cos I know you will be ok now.

So I'mma gonna hold ya to it. Hehe

Ya big bullies!

I do appreciate it really. I know I made the promise steph hunnie, if I pick up a drink I will go to AA and I will stick to that.

First, I am gonna phone rehab now and see if I can start attending again. As for the pity pot Taz, I move further away from it each day I don't drink.

Gypsy anytime babes, anytime!

Still no news on the heart scan, that will be a week or so probably. I phoned rehab and they said to just turn up on Monday, the person I spoke to didn't sound very sure though. I will turn up and see how things stand, I hope I don't get kicked off.
I am going out soon to a local farm that does food, I am going to get out of the house but I might take my camera and snap some ducks and peacocks.

Hi Stones
Stay busy is what I say. Out doors is the best place for me. I get to thinking when I am alone inside my house.
I have had 3 sponsors in AA say they could not be my sponsor for various reasons. I am starting to feel like maybe this will be an individual program of recovery for me. Take what I need and dis' the rest.
Got things lined up for me to do this weekend , then its off to visit my Mum in DC. we have a cousin who is dying and I can be of comfort to my mother who lives alone. I will probably check out meetings in her little town just to keep me straight. Shoot, I was sober for almost 11 years before with no help-I can do it again with help from many, not just AA.
take care

melissa

Very productive Stone. I've been isolated in my home office for what seems like months and it has done nothing but harm. I've been spending more time outside now and feel considerably better.

Hi Melissa, keep busy is right. It is a shame about the no sponsor thing. Don't get disheartened and seek help and support from wherever you can, I am supporting right now!

Here are some peacocks.

Wow Stone, great pics!

Bee do not be discouraged, keep checking out different meetings, your HP has a sponsor just for you, have faith and you will know your sponsor when you see and hear her.

Taz, I like the 2 meetings I go to but I have been passed on to the 4th person and I just feel like its not meant to be right now. No biggie for now. In a non-elated but calm place right now. Have to realize how hormones play with my head too-oops more that you wanted to know huh!!

It will be nice to be in the mountains this next week-I was not born in the mountains but I got a love for them by osmosis from my Virginny born Ma. We'll do some driving down the Eastern Shore too-love it! I can taste garlic crabs right now.

Stone-love the peacocks! have a good weekend. all

Hi Melissa, garlic crabs sound great. Non-elated is OK, just keep bad thinking out and positive thinking in.

I am seeing if I can upload photos another way so they don't have to be so tiny,,,test
That's better!

Ironicly, I was having trouble sleeping last night and just as I was falling asleep a sodding pheasant or something starts making this hideous noise in the back garden!

When I finally gave up and got up I went to take it's picture but it jumped over the fence. So it is 6.30am here and I am drinking warm milk bless me!

I hope the milk did the trick and put you back to sleep stone. It's a little after 2pm for you now though... Are you out snapping some pix ?

A friend of mine is hurting very much right now and it is affecting me very badly. I am angry and upset that I can't help and I feel like drinking, I keep bloody crying. Then I think 'oh yes this is all about you isn't it? What about them you egocentric *******'. I seem to be feeling their hurt, I think I prefered being a sociopathic alcoholic to this. If I drink it will make me much worse and prevent me from helping them if they want me to so I just can't drink.
