I've already had a productive morning!

Had a positive review regarding my
food stamp and Medicare re certification.
So...for another year
I can eat well and see Doctors for free!

Got my ID card for an indoor pool so I
can swim again.
My son joined and addded me.

We celebbrated by having breakfast out.

Then I come here and check in with
cyber friends....

Myself: 1 hour (natch)

If you rely on your computer clock you will be late 1 hour in 3 weeks if you clocked ahead 1 hour manually already.

stone, I'm good today! Glad to hear you're feeling better. The flu sucks! I had it bad at the beginning of the year and was down for a week with fever.

I have to wait in for a replacement PC monitor to be delivered today Tally.
I should tidy the place up but I can't be arsed...
I have just got the film 'as good as it gets' on stephs recommendation so I will watch that in a while.

I am keeping the old one for a bit and getting the 19" one when I have a bit more cash. They replaced the faulty one with another faulty one last week and are supposed to replacing that today but no-one has turned up

I relapsed last night...



- on PIE and ICE CREAM! Lord, I have to stop this! I can't button my blue jeans anymore. Since I quit drinking I have an insatiable desire for sweet stuff. Especially Dutch apple pie a la mode. I can eat a whole pie and a carton of ice cream in one setting.

Take comfort in the fact that apple pie and ice cream are still a whole lot better then booze my dear friend.

But indeed,... one must be carefull. Before you know it you replace one addiction with another.

Yes, I hope I don't become a glutton! I need to improve my diet and start an exercise program. I smoke way too much too. But, my priority now is to get through my first thirty days of sobriety.

I was late on Monday. Sudden change in when we go on DST caught me off guard. I guess I am the only one here that had a problem.
