gypsy Coronation st, is a god-awful soap opera we have here and Bubbles is from TPB which is a Canadian 'mockumentary' style TV show.

I haven't seen the Sopranos for a while. I love a bit of gangster stuff though, The Godfather and Scarface are two of my fave movies. And anything by Scorcese with gangsters too lol.

stone how come everyone I talk to from the UK hates that show? Us Canadians, we love it! We have a guy that visits here every year for a month from the UK and when he comes over we all sit around drinking beer (well not me anymore) and make him watch it, he curses and swears until we turn it off. Actually he threatens to take out his glass eye which just grosses me out and at that point I turn it off.

I hate all soap operas so I dunno...a lot of people watch it though, more watch Eastenders which is also freakin awful. Have you seen that? What are you doing getting The Street (lol) in Canada anyway?

It's a staple here in Canada, well Ontario anyway. They show it every night for half hour or you can watch the whole week on Sunday mornings for 2.5 hours. You should have seen the uproar when the postponed it for a few weeks back when the Olympics were on. We are about 8 months behind on it but I rarely miss an episode.

"The Street"... I like that! Haven't seen East Enders..

Taz, you ARE my friend, we are 'former garage dwellers'. Yours may be safe now but mine is still the party house. Went from 9am yesterday to about 9pm. I was thrilled to wake up feeling good today!

Checking in again! It's 2pm here and I am feeling pretty good. I have just been out for some shopping and got tons of chocolate as I seem to be a chocoholic now, I don't care if I put weight on, not drinking is the only priority right now.
