Besides stopping the alcohol, what else can you do for fatty liver?
Also, what does it feel like, fatty liver? Are you really swollen around the abdomen? Obviously, I'm asking these questions, because I think I might have it. Can you get rid of it?

Congrats on 43 days
As for the fatty liver how did you find out you have it? Does it get better over time? I recently had some blood work done....haven't had a drink in 14 months and my liver function was elevated!!! It concerns me, however the nurse didn't seem concerned and told me to come get re-checked in a month. I was on Amoxicillin a couple weeks before (I hadn't mentioned this to my doctor since I didn't even think about it!) which I read can raise your levels.....I sure hope so....it's freaking me out a little!

Go to wikipedia.org > "Fatty Liver". I can't post the direct link because I don't have 15 posts yet.
There's your online encyclopedia entry for Fatty Liver. It's a reversable condition - usually treated by removing whatever's causing it (in this case, over time as you stay sober your liver should repair itself to a normal size).
