Thank you!
Thank you!
I usually post in "Family and Friends of Alcoholics", but I hope you don't mind my posting here today.
I just want to say THANK YOU to those of you who recognize you have an addiction, and are doing your best to recover. I was married to an abusive A for 12 years, and I finally left him in October. He wouldn't even admit to having a problem (he's an alcoholic and also abuses benzos and other muscle relaxants, as well as pot). I realize now that admitting you have a problem is probably the biggest step.
Anyway, I hope this post isn't too corny. LOL I think about everyone here at SR often, and how wonderful it is to see so many people in recovery. (((HUGS))) and prayers to each and every one of you. If you slip up from time to time, please don't give up! The important thing is that you're TRYING. I wish my ex-husband had tried. Please pray for him.

First let me thank you and then let you know that I have prayed for you and all parties effected by alcoholism.
Sadly sometimes it is the best thing for both parties concerned and especially for children tied up in this to part ways. You should have made a smart move by not being the victim any longer and coming to grips that there was no good to come of you staying with him.
Hugs and more prayers for you and your future.
