90 Days !

Today is day 90 for me. I'm heading to a noon meeting today for a chip, and my 2nd home group tonight for the same.

It has been the Grace of God that led me to where I am, but I did the footwork

I've been to lot's of meetings (110+), got a sponsor, called my sponsor, called other alkies, taken 4 commitments, read the big book, worked the steps (I'm on step 9) and prayed. Please in the morning, Thank You at night.

Thank you for being a part of my recovery.

Soooooo happy for you G,
Can't wait until I can write similiar post...and 90 days is major milestone! 43 days and counting.
A woman I know at yesterday's meeting got her 90 day chip. She said she had a rough week prior to and found herself in liquor store parking lot just the day before. As she sat there, her phone rang and it was AA pal telling her she was waiting for her in her driveway. She said "I'm on my way!". She took that to be her Higher Power in action.

Way to go!

How awesome is that! You have inspired me to get even more into the program by way of commitments. I need to suck it up(I'm very shy) and "get in the middle" as they say. Hopefully in seven days I will have 90 myself. Thanks for posting and congrats!
